Shipping Information

Talu Tales e-commerce store offers flat rate shipping Australia Wide. For purchases over $70 shipping is free with the code ‘FREESHIP’ (YIPPEE!!).

All orders will be processed in 3-5 days. You will receive an email, shipping notification and tracking number once your order has shipped.

Australia wide — $6 flat rate

Overseas — to our overseas friends! At the moment we don’t ship internationally, however, are able to organise shipping at the buyers cost, or postal forwarding services. If you’re interested in purchasing and would like a shipping quote please email hi@talutales.com. As a guide, shipping to the US is an estimated $40AUD.  

Risk of Loss

All items purchased from the Talu Tales e-commerce store are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. Customers who elect to have goods delivered to an address whereby the goods may be accepted or signed for by a 3rd party (i.e. workplace, hotel, office building) accept all responsibility for location and recovery of the goods once the carrier has reported delivery to that address.

Returns & Exchanges

At Studio Talu we pride ourselves on products made with head, heart and hand. We take great care in producing, processing and shipping your order however understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned. If for any reason the product does not match the description on this site, of you’re not completely satisfied- please contact us at hi@talutales.com or phone +61 4874 04996. In these situations Studio Talu and Little Literature Co. (our parent company) will accept returns on unused products within 30 days of delivery minus shipping costs. You assume any risk of lost, theft or damaged goods during transit and therefore we advise you to insure your parcel. Little Literature Co. Pty Ltd will not be responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit if you choose not to insure. Items should be in their original packaging and condition.Please note that we will only refund or exchange products purchased from https://talutales.com If you have purchased Talu Tales from another online retailer or from a retail outlet you will need to return the product from where it was purchased.

Part of this website is a shopping website where you can browse, select and order products from Little Literature Co. Pty Ltd

You warrant that all details you provide to us upon ordering are accurate and correct, that the information you have provided to us is correct at the time of ordering and that you accept the responsibility that fulfilment of your order is predicated on the information that you have provided to us. If you do happen to provide an incorrect address, please email hi@talutales.com - if the item is yet to be shipped we will do everything in our power to amend.

Payment

Little Literature Co. is under no obligation to ship any products ordered until payment for those products has been received in full. Your contract with Little Literature Co. will only come into existence when you have fully paid for your order and Little Literature Co. advises you that it has accepted your order and your receipt has been confirmed. Any order placed by you is in effect an offer by you to purchase a product for the price (including the delivery and other charges) specified in this website. Little Literature Co. may accept or reject your order for any reason, including, the unavailability of any product or an error in your order. 

Prices of Little Literature Co. products and delivery and other related charges as displayed are current at the time of issue, but may change at any time and are subject to availability. Similarly the availability of products and services may change from time to time.

Currency Used

On the Australian website (talutales.com) the nominated currency used for all transactions is Australian Dollars (AUD$). Prices displayed are inclusive of GST (Australian domestic Goods and Services Tax).

For what purpose does Little Literature Co. require your personal information?

Stripe

Stripe provides Little Literature Co. with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Stripe will use the information we collect as part of the payment processing practice. When you use Stripe Checkout on Little Literature Co. website to store your payment credentials, Stripe will use the Personal Information disclosed to Little Literature Co. (outlined above) to complete purchases that you choose to make.

Your data is stored through Stripes data storage, databases and the general Stripe application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Where you submit a payment via the Website, you will be providing your credit card details to our payment gateway service provider, Stripe Australia Pty Ltd and its bank, National Australia Bank Ltd. Your credit card details are not stored by the Service and cannot be accessed by Little Literature Co. staff. You should refer to Stripe’s privacy policy (found here) for details regarding how Stripe uses and discloses your credit card details and any other personal information it collects.
